Our bodies are designed to move. In fact, we are structurally engineered for movement. So why did we stop moving? More importantly, why don’t we start again? Pilates provides an opportunity to rediscover how wonderful movement feels when our bodies are strong, balanced, and supple.

Why the core?
Our core muscles protect and stabilize our spine and pelvis as we move, impacting our posture, quality of movement, and performance. Conversely, weak core muscles lead to muscular imbalances, fatigue, overuse, and injuries. Core strengthening (Pilates exercise) is both preventative and rehabilitative.
