Pilates is Movement Therapy
Our bodies are designed to move. If movement has become painful… the solution is still to move – it is both preventative and rehabilitative. Pilates is restorative exercise, evidenced by how wonderful movement feels when our bodies are strong, balanced, and supple.

Why the core?
Our core muscles protect and stabilize our spine and pelvis as we move, impacting our posture, ease of movement, and performance. Conversely, weak core muscles lead to muscular imbalances, fatigue, overuse, and injuries. Core strengthening (Pilates exercise) is both preventative and rehabilitative.
